Handmade Arcade 2008

This weekend you can get a jump on your Christmas shopping by buying unique crafts at the annual Handmade Arcade. This take on the art fair offers items made from reconstructed and other strange items. The event is the area’s largest indie craft show.

In past years, the event has been held at Construction Junction, in Wilkinsburg, but is moving to the Historic Hunt Armory in Shadyside. The event will run Saturday, November 8th from 11:00AM- 7:00PM and Sunday, November 9th from 11:00AM-5:00PM. The Handmade Arcade is completely FREE!!

Vendors this year include Cosy Knits, beth pohlman jewelry, KatieBess, Sunstone Soap, and tigerlillyshop. The event is sponsored by City Paper, Commonwealth Press, PA Council on the Arts, Port Authority, Scion, and Wyep.

The Historic Hunt Armory is located at 324 Emerson St., Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
